Cat Hygiene 101

Cats have an instinct to keep themselves clean hence, why they are constantly licking themselves and other cats clean. Their tongues comb through their hair keeping them looking purr-fect. However, cats can not keep up with their hygiene routines entirely by themselves. It's up to you to stay on top of their hygiene on a monthly basis. Grooming and oral hygiene are extremely important to avoid health problems, infections, and stress on your cats.

Grooming: Brushing your kitten's coat regularly is important to keep them healthy and happy! It's an opportunity to check for parasites, remove knots, and helps prevent hairballs that can build up in the stomach and cause stress on your cat. The Cat Grooming/Massage Glove is great for both long haired and short haired cats. The gloves remove loose hair while also gently massaging your cat.

Oral Hygiene: Failure to maintain your cat's oral hygiene could result in tooth loss, inflamed gums, and bad breath. It is important that you brush your cat's teeth regularly! The Soft Pet Finger Toothbrush is a great way to start. Gently use your finger to brush your cat's teeth. The Chew Toothbrush is an alternative that cats love to play with and keeps their gums/ teeth healthy.

Caring for your cat's hygiene will not only support their health, but also help you bond with them ❤️
